When it comes to tennis apparel, choosing the right brand can make a significant difference in your performance on the court, I know that sounds crazy but if you play tennis, you know what I mean. Here are the top 4 tennis brands known for their high-quality apparel:
1. Redvanly
Redvanly is pretty new to the Tennis game. 3 of the 4 companies have been able to crack this list due to companies like Nike and Adidas becoming complacent with where they are at in the market space. Nike and Adidas know that they don't need innovation to stay on top, for those reasons, their quality has significantly diminished over the last few years.
Redvanly is a US operated, small business. While their gear is not cheap, their quarter zip is unbelievably comfortable and a great piece for any tennis player to warmup in. Also, their polos sweat well, they don't get heavy or sticky. Don't sleep on Redvanly, if you have the money to spend, you won't be disappointed.
2. Vuori
Vuori, like Redvanly is somewhat new to the game. And even though they don't have tons of tennis specific gear, their quality is as good as it gets. If I had to go with one piece from Vuori, it has to be the shorts. Their line will be developed more, it is hard to imagine otherwise. Look out for them in the future for new drops.
3. Wilson
Wilson may be best known for their tennis rackets, but they also offer a fantastic selection of tennis apparel. With a commitment to quality and performance, Wilson's tennis clothing is designed to help you move freely on the court while staying cool and comfortable. This wasn't always the case for Wilson, it seems that they have recently invested is upping their gear. If you like classic, and the have a thing for the "W" - go Wilson.
Psycho Bunny is my dark horse. Similar to Redvanly and Vuori, their gear is on the more expensive side of things but with due reason, the quality is top notch. With ties to Tennis Canada, look for them to make a push on the WTA or ATP soon. I would recommend the Mens Courtside Sport Polo. Granted, they are new to tennis and their apparel line needs some work, they are still coming in hot and ready to take over some market share. Definitely not your traditional tennis look but I think that is what people like about it.
